The level of commitment will depend on how God is working in your life. We hope to have intentional conversations to find out more about you, and how God is speaking to you. Your employment status will also be a factor in the length of commitment.

We require someone to be a Southeast member passionate about reaching the nations. We will also have a process of determining readiness based on life stage, experience, and spiritual maturity. It is unsafe and unwise to send anyone who is not ready, so we will be as thorough as necessary. The requirements for entering a country and working abroad will be dependent on your visa. Before you can legally work and live abroad, you must secure the proper visas. The sponsorship, cost, requirements, and duration of visas will vary, but they are also renewable if requirements continue to be met. We will be able to help you understand the relocation process as well as which visas you will need.

We have worked to develop multiple training resources. These will be made available as needed.

It is our desire for those who are a part of this initiative to be a member of our local congregation. If you are already a member of another church, then we encourage you to talk to your pastors and leaders about how they can help you take your career overseas.

We want you to succeed professionally, so we will diligently and prayerfully come alongside you in your job search. It can be difficult to get an interview by applying online because applying for a job can be very personal (particularly in other cultures). So, networking and relationships are very important! Be proactive by building industry connections through meetings, calls, and/or social media.

You will not be required to learn another language, but speaking to locals in their native language can show a lot about your commitment and love for them. Even a cursory knowledge of another language can make you stand out professionally. It is not required, but encouraged!

It is very safe! Multiple countries rank in the top 25 safest in the world. The cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, for example, are consistently ranked as two of the safest cities in the world.
